FELCO in Barossa Pruning Expo and South Australian Pruning Championships

FELCO was proud to return to this year’s Barossa Pruning Expo and South Australian Pruning Championships. Barossa, a wine-producing region northeast of Adelaide, is renowned for its high-profile wineries, Shiraz grapes and an array of premium tours and cellar door tasting - making it one of Australia’s top wine destinations.

The show was at Pirsa Viticulture Research Station in Nuriootpa and attracted over 200 growers, viticulturists and pruners in and around the region.

FELCO Territory Sales Managers local to South Australia were present throughout the day and showcased FELCO’s complete range of tools on-site at the FELCO trade stand. FELCO conducted live product demonstrations and shared servicing and sharpening best practices throughout the day.

As with previous years, it was an honour to present FELCO prize packs to the top 3 finishers of the FELCO Team Spur event in the South Australian Pruning Championships. The competition ran from 8:00am to noon on the day where winners received the biggest FELCO prize pack ever given at the event; this included the much-coveted FELCO 802 Power Tool for the main winner.

We’re thrilled that the expo has returned in 2021 and to once again continue our partnership and support to the passionate community in Barossa - heralded as the most popular wine region in Australia.
