Special Application - FELCO 8 with spraying device

The FELCO 19 comprises a sprayer, connected by a hose to a pair of FELCO 8 pruning shears. This efficient combination can then be connected to your belt. The spray is delivered automatically to disinfect the shears when they are closed, which avoids time consuming checks - as well as the damaging consequences of transferring diseases from one plant to another.

Description

The celebrated clean cut of FELCO tools is a powerful incentive to quick healing. However, the surest way to limit the risk of transferring disease from one plant to another is to invest in the FELCO 19. Connected by a hose to a pair of FELCO 8 pruning shears, the spray system disinfects the pruning shears between each cut. N°1  Cleaning
It is advisable to clean your tool after each use. If your tool is particularly dirty or subject to rusting after exposure to moisture, do not delay cleaning.

N°2  Oiling
After cleaning, it is advisable to oil the tool so as to protect it from corrosion. The oil will also unjam the tool.

N°3  Sharpening
It is advisable to sharpen your tool at least once a day, but if you feel that your tool is not cutting as well as usual, sharpen it right away!

It is advisable to dismantle your tool on a regular basis, but at the very latest when it appears to be jammed.

N°3  Changing the plastic coatings for handles
If the coatings are badly damaged, you can replace them. Soak the coatings for 2 minutes in boiling water - recommended glue: Loctite 415.

When the thumb catch is damaged and loosens when used, even when the screw is readjusted, change it.
